“We’re appreciative of the contributions that Terrance has made to the VCU program over the past two years,” Smart said. “But at this time, we feel it is best for Terrance to continue his career elsewhere. We wish him nothing but the best.”
Saintil, a 6-foot-8 forward from North Miami, Fla., averaged 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in 26 games this season after returning from a thumb injury. In two seasons with VCU, Saintil appeared in 57 games and averaged 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds.
