VCU and the Stu are fortunate, once again, to host one game of ESPN's 2010 BracketBuster matchups. The Rams will face the Akron Zips once again on February 20th and the game will be broadcast live on ESPNU at 4pm.
Akron currently has an R.P.I. ranking of 114 with a current record of 14-6 overall and 5-2 in the MId-Atalantic Conference.
The Rams look to make it their 3rd win in their 5th BracketBuster appearance. The Rams were bested by College of Charleston in 2005, beat Albany in 2006, lost to Bradley in 2007, faced Akron in 2008 getting a win and fell short by 1 point on the road to Nevada in 2009. The BracketBuster tournament started in 2003.
