It wasn't even two weeks ago when the Rams were in Maryland to grab a 20 plus point victory over the Towson Tigers.  The only difference tonight was that VCU got the win at The Stu. 66-43

The Stu saw hometown favorite Senior Bradford Burgess have a hot game where he led all Rams in scoring with 22.  Burgess went 8-15on the night with 6-11 from behind the arc.

VCU's bigs played a solid roll in the win.  Sophomore DJ Haley had an impressive outting with 25 minutes 10 points and 11 rebounds.  Sophomore Juvonte Reddic chipped in 4 points and 1 rebounds. Freshman Jarred Guest even saw 15 minutes of action.

Towson turned the ball over 28 times.  VCU was responsible for 19 steals from the Tigers. Towson managed to outrebound VCU 33 to 31.  VCU's defense forced Towson to shoot just 41% on the night, 0-6 on threes.

Redshirt Freshman Reco McCarter saw some action with 3 points in his two minutes of play and Junior David Hinton dropped in 4 points for the total team effort.

VCU is now 21-5 over all and 12-2 in conference play and will travel to Norfolk on Saturday to play Old Dominion University.
