Covering VCU hoops for over 9 years, we've met some pretty great people. Former Deputy Athletic Director, Mike Ellis, is right up there at the top of the list.
Most of you remember him, court side, calling games with Robby Robinson but Ellis is really just a big VCU fan. Even after his tenure at VCU, he, admittedly, followed VCU basketball from afar every single day.
Unofficial records also show that Ellis was our very first guest back in 2007 so it was a pleasure to catch back up with him and see what he is up to now that he is back in Richmond.
