But you know what? Not only did I root for the 6'9 graduating senior, I actually liked the guy.

VCU seniors Jamie Skeen, Ed Nixon, Brandon Rozzell and Joey Rodriguez hit the hardwood at the Stuart C. Siegel center for one last dance, this time teaming up with Spider rivals Kevin Anderson and the aforementioned Geroit in this year's edition of the Commonwealth Collegiate Challenge.

The team known as "Hoopstown USA" went heads up with the "Commonwealth" squad made up of players from the likes of ODU, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, and George Mason.

In typical exhibition fashion, defense road the bench on this one, as the 804 All-Stars slept on a massive halftime lead, eventually falling 125-122 in a 3-minute overtime.

Players were made available for autographs both at halftime and following the final buzzer, as fans got a chance to thank these senior athletes one last time.

Tons of Rams were on hand for this one, including the coaching staff and majority of this year's team -- as well as last year's star and current Milwaukee Buck, Larry Sanders.

We got a chance to talk with the majority of last night's participants, so enjoy the following ten minutes of interviews, and stay tuned for the game highlights.
