It's been a wild year for VCU head coach Will Wade. Last April the Rams brought Wade back to Richmond after two successful seasons with the UT Chattanooga Mocs, taking over for former boss Shaka Smart at a program that had been to five consecutive NCAA tournaments. Wade added a sixth in his first season back, exceeding expectations for a team picked to finish fifth in the Atlantic 10, winning a share of the A-10 regular season title before advancing to the round of 32 in this year's NCAA tournament.
We got a chance to catch up with coach today, reflecting on a successful year while also looking forward to what lies ahead.
