As a graduate of VCU's famed Center for Sport Leadership program I've read enough John C. Maxwell books by now to tell you that one of the keys to a successful team or program is getting the right people on the bus. Casey Long is one of those right people and it's a good thing that he's riding shotgun in the black and gold charter.
I got a chance to chat with the former UT Chattanooga point guard today as he approaches his first season as VCU assistant after serving as Will Wade's Director of Basketball Operations this past year. I'm even more convinced after this morning's meeting that Will Wade hired a future star.
See for yourself while learning a bit more about VCU Assistant Coach Casey Long.
