We caught up with Marcus Tsohonis, a 6'3" 190 lb guard out of Portland, Oregon. He's a junior transfer from the University of Washington. He averaged 10.4 ppg coming off the bench for the Huskies and is most likely in the starting lineup for VCU this season.
While Marcus averaged the 2nd most points for Washington last season, he only started 4 games. He topped double figures 10 times last season including a career-high 29 points in a game against Washington State where he hit the game winning shot.
Marcus will have two years of eligibility with VCU and will be an immediate impact player for the Rams.
