The Rams finished the season with a record 29 wins, including a big 12 versus 5 upset over Wichita State this past Thursday evening.

After winning this year's CAA tournament championship, the Rams marched to the big dance in consecutive seasons for the first time since '84-'85.

VCU says goodbye to just one senior in the great Bradford Burgess, but welcomes three freshman including Burgess' brother Jordan --a top-100 ESPN recruit -- and returns what was the 9th-youngest team in college basketball for another shot at a CAA crown and another trip to the NCAA tournament.

The Rams also have a stacked schedule next season, including home games against two tournament teams in Alabama and Wichita State, and a loaded early season tournament that includes the likes of Duke, Memphis, Northern Iowa, Louisville, Missouri, Stanford and Minnesota.
