It was nice to see VCU get back on track after two tough losses to George Washington University and UMASS, respectively. Friday's win against St. Louis isn't really what Coach Wade was interested in talking about right away after the game.
Coach Wade sent a message to the team and to the fans via the media after Friday's win. The message was, "Hey guys, I've got your back." After players received criticism after the losses, Wade passionately took full responsibility for both losses. Citing lack of coach preparation as the source and not the teams execution.
VCU will host Rhode Island on Tuesday, February 16th at 7:30pm.
