Recap: George Washington edged past VCU in a thrilling 84-82 win. Edwards and Buchanan Jr. led the Revolutionaries with 20 and 19 points, respectively, while Bishop IV shone with 11 points and a game-high 11 assists. For VCU, Jackson and Bairstow put up 15 and 13 points, but Shulga's 20 points wasn't enough to secure the win. The Rams led by 9 early but trailed by 5 at halftime. A late surge helped VCU tie the game with 11 seconds left, but a clutch jumper by Bishop IV sealed the victory for GW. This is VCU's second consecutive defeat in Atlantic 10 conference play.

Next Game: VCU will travel to northern Virginia to face George Mason on Tuesday, January 9th at 7:00pm. The game will be televised on the ESPN+.
