We've been experiencing some major technical difficulties with Vimeo (and still are).
After two months of undefeated basketball, the Rams have lost their second game in as many tries.
The Rams trailed La Salle by nine at the half, but VCU roared back with a 17-0 run to start the second.
The Explorers answered with a run of their own, and outscored VCU 31-16 over the final 12:26 of play, eventually winning 69-61 and joining the Rams in a tie for second place in the A-10 at 4-2.
Once again, the VCU guards had a tough time on both sides of the ball, forcing an un-VCU like 14 turnovers (the Ram's averaged 20.8 coming into the game), and giving up 47 points to La Salle's top two backcourt threats.
Junior Juvonte Reddic kept the Rams in it throughout the night, scoring 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting and adding 10 rebounds in his 35 minutes on the floor.
Sophomore Treveon Graham posted a double-double as well (13 points, 12 rebounds), but was just 4-17 from the field in a night VCU struggled to hit shots, 38.3% from the field as a team.
The Rams (16-5, 4-2) will get two good chances to bounce back, heading to Rhode Island (6-12, 1-4) Wednesday before returning to Richmond for a Saturday homecoming tip against Fordham at 7PM.
