Tonight I headed down to the Siegel Center, not as a warm up for hoops season but as one cameraman wanting to get his first look at the now 13-4 VCU Rams under new head coach Jody Rogers. I liked what I saw.
The Rams battled a pesky Hampton team but dispatched them in three straight sets (full breakdown <a title="here on VCUAthletics.com" href="http://vcuathletics.com/sports/wvball/2013-14/releases/201310024mcqd9">here on VCUAthletics.com</a>).
This was my first volleyball game of the season (coincidentally the Rams first home game on the year) and the first volleyball game we've ever filmed for VCURamNation.com. It won't be my last.
