The Rams did just that, forcing 28 turnovers and totaling 20 steals on the night, the highest single-game mark by any team in the country this year.
Senior Bradford Burgess continued his hot streak by posting 22 points in the win, his second 20+ performance in three games, but it was junior guard Darius Theus who set the tone of the game, swiping seven steals from the Seahawks, good enough for the single-game record at Virginia Commonwealth.
Juvonte Reddic had a near double-double, scoring 16 points to go along with a team high nine rebounds in the win.
Troy Daniels and Treveon Graham round out the list of double-digit scorers, both posting 15 points off the bench.
The win is VCU's 4th-straight, moving the black-and-gold to 7-3 on the season, 1-0 in conference play.
VCU will dip back into OOC territories, taking on three non-conference opponents starting this Tuesday in a home tip against former Sunbelt rival UAB Blazers at 7:30PM.
