The Official Beat the Greyhounds of Loyola University in the Animal

Not sure you advocate for much change when you end the OOC schedule at 10-3 but I can see a few adjustments in order or at least mixing things up a bit. I would like to see more of Bones at the point with Marcus at the 2 and DJ at the 3. I also would like to see IV coming off the bench for a...

    Recruiting 2020 Offers

On an "unofficial" visit to VT today. Tech has been on him hard since his blow-up. His 7'0 brother plays for ETSU after transferring from Oklahoma State.

The Official Beat Ole Dirty in the Animal Thread

That's the whole point. Only someone with an FODU education could assess VCU as being mediocre. Just a ludicrous statement albeit not surprising.

The Official Beat Ole Dirty in the Animal Thread

Well the vitriol is in full bloom on the FODU board. Mike was characterized in the following way by one poster "Rhoades is trash" and "he took a trash program to a mediocre program." No understanding of lost recruiting classes and player attrition when there's a coaching change.

The Official Beat The Purdue Boilermakers in the Emerald Coast Classic

Very, very disappointing outcome. An extremely beatable team. When you get P5's on a neutral court you better take advantage of it. Can't win with 21 TO's, 6-Dimes, and poor shooting from deep. The Seniors just did not step-up. 9 TO's from our two 5th years Seniors. We will be confronted with a...

    2019-20 Opponent Tracking

Again, I understand the injury situation. It's prevalent in every competitive sport. I certainly hope all of the players overcome their injuries, the chemistry get's right, and they make a run. That said, we should be competitive against teams comparable to ours. Not talking winning necessarily...

    2019-20 Opponent Tracking

I noticed that Juggernaut known as Boston College got blown-out by Charlotte today. That's Holy Cross, Providence and now Charlotte that have easily handled BC.

    2019-20 Opponent Tracking

I understand the injury situation. Most programs have similar experiences over time. It's not necessarily about wins. It's about being competitive, particularly when you are an experienced team. Hopefully things will get substantially better as we approach the conference schedule.

David is right at 6'9" now. He hails from De Lier in the Netherlands. This is his second year in the US and he is really exploding on the scene having adjusted to the physicality of the US game. He is a 3* with 247sports. His latest offer(prior to VCU), was DePaul and St. Joes and Mason are on...

    Recruiting 2020 Offers

While I have no inside information regarding that situation I don't think so. We are targeting a number of big guys for that last scholarship. It will be interesting to see who jumps out of the pack. Never know when a kid may be ready to commit.

I think Mike and company are in an enviable position in terms of recruiting and the use of the last scholarship. Having inked four (First Choice) prospects they can just sit back, carefully target and cherry-pick that last piece. I don't think there is any question that the preference is a big...

I think we definitely have a chance if we decide to prioritize him. He's the top unsigned big in North Carolina right now and apparently on the cusp of blowing-up according to people that follow him. I know it's a bit of a cliché but every year between the early and late signing periods X number...

    2019-20 Opponent Tracking

I know injuries have certainly been a factor. I've heard other things as well. That not withstanding, no one expects a 35 point blow-out by Boston College especially after the SH debacle. BC is 4-2 and was handled easily by Holy Cross and Providence. A veteran team even with some injury issues...

Well, as unlikely as it would seem, apparently Jonas does have a 3-point game. He shot 40% this summer. One recruiting analyst described him as having a "repeatable and pure form." Not that you need your 7 footer shooting treys but it could be a bonus. The word I get is that he is only 16, is...

    2019-20 Opponent Tracking

Another game basically over shortly after tip-off. Essentially non-competitive once again. Must be more than injuries going on.
