Agreed and that is why my mindset for VCU is simply "play better" in the final 5 non-con games. Maybe we win some closer games vs Jacksonville and Radford, maybe we blowout Howard, Northern Illinois, and Navy. Regardless, let's hopefully "get better" because the A10 is VERY winnable this season.

Honestly I wasn't really responding to your post, I was just providing my generic opinion on the A10's stature as a whole and how VCU plays into it. My bad if it came off like I was disagreeing with you, I just happened to be responding to your comment.

VCU is NOT to blame for this, but we also aren't holding up our end as much as we could. Same could be said for Dayton and SLU the last few years too. We've all had a few underwhelming seasons.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but we've played Radford exactly 1 time in the 21st century. The "dropped two of last four" is kind of an odd take.

Good test for SLU tonight as they travel to New Rochelle, NY to face Pitino' Iona Gaels. Iona is currently 50 in the NET and 81 in KP. I agree with all of what you said. I'm just condensing my focus to the rest of non-con play. A 5-0 record and what appears to be team & individual improvements will give me confidence ahead of our home game vs La Salle on NYE.
