No game vs Richmond on Saturday...
Wonder if any of these postponed games will be made up? I am thinking not.

If Richmond has to be on pause for 7+ days, then the game scheduled for 1/20 Richmond at St Bonaventure will probably be postponed.
At this moment following our GW game today, VCU is off until 1/23 when we host Dayton. I imagine the A10 may try to swing a VCU trip to Olean next week.
I guess we will see.

It could be if there's enough space in the schedule to fit it in. Worst case scenario (aside from outright cancellation), we could play them on two consecutive days.
Hopefully whoever tested positive gets well soon.

Yeah if we have that much of a layoff on our hands they just have to find a way to sneak a game against someone in there. Especially since we have already missed a game.

The only make up game other than this Richmond game is Davidson and they play La Salle on Saturday in Philly. That would be the only "sneak a game in" that is needed. Only way that would happen is if the A10 schedules it for Sunday but that would not be fair to DC. Maybe Monday.
PS-The A10 rescheduled two conference games yesterday with new dates and times.

I'm looking at it from the mindset that there will be more cancellations and postponements for every team in the conference, let's just get games in wherever possible and whenever possible. I think the Virginia schools are the only ones allowing fans in attendance anyway right? So you wouldn't be creating a scenario where people are pissed because they missed out on a game they couldn't attend or whatever

basically it's if a team is healthy and has an opening for a game then the conference should find a way to get a game in there because there are no guarantees that anybody is playing their next game. If everybody is getting games in wherever it is possible then it will hurt everyone less down the road when you get shut down for ten days for covid. I just think scheduling should be extremely fluid this season to that end.
((ninja edit: whether this is feasible, obviously I have no idea. I just know that the more games the conference gets in the better))
