Well here is something to ponder. Any recruit born on 3/11/2005 or later, was born after anyone but Mooney coached a game for us.

How young is the youngest VCU recruit?
Good question! I don’t know the answer to that but assume that probably applies to VCU as well.

Not a big fan of the "doubleheader method" that the MWC has used to get in games this year from a competition standpoint but I wonder if it really helped get in games. I might have to try to compare our conferences and see how much worse we were on missing games although I think the data may be quite skewed simply because we had so many teams that did SO BAD with getting games in. Probably hard to make an honest comparison and I'm no statistician!

It really looks like it made COVID pauses a lot easier to manage. Quickly skimming their schedules, it seems that only a few teams that didn’t end up pausing had to miss more than two conference games.

Sunday February 28th
Memphis
@ Cincinnati- 1 PM (ESPN)
Nevada @ Utah State- 7 PM (Fox Sports 1)

Memphis at Cincy up 24-19 with 7:30 left in the first half. Memphis is 61 in the net. If they can win this game and the next then we are close to having a 2nd quad 1 win.

Memphis needs a decent showing in the AAC tournament, I think, but it’s very possible.

We got the Utah State win yesterday which kept them at 50 and Davidson moved to 70 yet we still lost ground to 38. It may
be up to us to win a couple.
