Annnnnd....
May I call it with this thread?
We are now in the pre-pre-pre-pre Season and (as enjoyable as they are!) we can start thinking about waving good-bye to the off-season threads!

Our out of conference is like ACC or Big 12 in conference. 20 wins and tourney?
I knew it wouldn't be long. This isn't like an ACC or Big 12 conference by any stretch of the imagination. ACC or Big 12 they have at least 7-10 games where you may be the underdog. We have 2.

Lol blame it on @N Mollen..... I only started it this early.... so that when all the games are announced.... I can put them in there easier for keeping track of things. Last year he started it like 2 days into May and by the time enough games had been announced.... I had to keep searching through the darn thread to update the listing. Plus it's easier for everyone to find if it's the first post in the thread.

Just trying to make sure he ain't taking my job from me . Just messing with you @N Mollen 8-)

So if all mid major conferences go to the pod system, are they right back where they started?

What does that mean? Read the article. It is about playing games in conference and then creating pods for the last 4 games of the season. It is about maximizing good wins and good losses at the end of the season in conference play.

I'm not so sure. The scheduling strategy is really aimed at the mid-pack P5 schools that don't have to play bottom-100 RPI schools in conference play. So maybe it moves all the good mid-majors up just enough to push one or two of those P5 teams out.
