Wow - that game was over almost before it began. While I did not expect to win I thought we would be at least moderately competitive. That won't happen on the road when you score 4 points in the first quarter. I know the team has had some injuries but they should be able to compete.

Not sure why you didn’t expect Us to win, the issue tonight was a lack of effort. We gave up 12 Offensive Rebounds and 11 second chance points you take that away and that’s a whole different ball game . So many rebounds that Seton Hall out hustled us for and made us pay. Defensively we held them right in line with our numbers last season that had us top 10 in the nation. Tonight was not a true reflection of our team

A few other takes from the game. The Hall was picked preseason 3rd in the Big East. There were only 587 in attendance so there was obviously no hostile atmosphere in the arena. More like a scrimmage. VCU had almost as many TO's as points with our Senior PG turning the ball over 6 times and scoring no points. Another one of our experienced players went 0-13 with 7 TO's although she did have 9 boards. When you can't buy a perimeter jumper you attack the paint. You should not end up with 0 FT's in 34 minutes of play.
