In the sense that we need LSU to be top 30 and they had a neutral court Q1A win themselves all but wrapped up. Puts serious pressure on us to go 1-1 in Florida. I'm anxious because the A10 is honestly not very good. We will not have another Q1 game at home all year unless Dayton or Rhody REALLY surprise. Otherwise we are looking at 5 or 6 Q1 games, none of them at home.

5 or 6 Q1 games might even be a stretch.

The A10 is looking bad, as usual.

I read OP's post differently. If he meant we wouldn't have another home Q1 game, then that implies LSU will be a Q1 game; however, OP was commenting that LSU's loss hurt because it might not be a Q1 game now. I read it as 'we won't have another Q1 game besides the OOC tournament.' Have to pick one of the interpretations

The LSU game isn’t looking good for top 30 after tonight. I also think it is very possible that only one of our two opponents in Florida will finish top 50.

That would mean all 4 of those road opponents would have to be top 75 for us to get to 5 Q1gsmes. Davidson isn’t looking good right now.

We’ll see, but we might just need to have 29-30 wins after the A10 tourney to get a 4-5 seed.

Merrimack is in their first year being D1 and aren't actually full members for 4 years. I am sure they probably had a real tough time actually making a schedule this year especially getting some home games so they had to get a team like this.

I know scheduling quality teams into the Stu is tough. Still, the better the opponents, the easier it will be to sell the tickets.
So far this year, our OOC home opponents are 17-27.
I have not done the math, but it feels like we've had tougher OOC schedules in the past.

I think their starting 5 is really good, but because they only play 6 that leads to fatigue, alas the poor defense and turnovers. Marlon Williams was a starter last year and he should return soon. Getting that rotation to 7 will help a lot.

It particularly hurts against a team like Utah State. Merrill is really good, but their greatest strength is depth.
