Didn't get a chance to watch the whole game.... but it wouldn't shock me if it were true.

However as far as the Tech for flopping.... I actually like that call..... but I want it to be called more universally, cause I'm sorry... I hate the flopping aspect of the game.
Not even talking about that.

These officials have been out to get Davidson from the opening tip. They were the better team tonight and will come away with the loss anyway.
I doubt the refs were out to get Davidson. Just 7 more fouls called on Davidson and four of those were in the last minute or so when they needed to foul. Marquette shot better from three and the FT line. Rebounds were even and Davidson had more turnovers. Not sure I can buy that Davidson was the better team.

Marcus Howard made Jon Axel Gudmundsson look pedestrian. He crossed Gudmundsson up all game and blew by him with ease.

I Bet McKillop is not happy, 17 TO {9 by Grady} and shot 15 3's and didn't make any, That's a long night. {only down 3 with < 2 min to play & had a 3 point lead with 4:07 to play}

Frampton didn't even make the trip to Orlando for personal reasons. He's shooting 49% from 3 and deeply affected their ability to hit from range. The foul calls being even is ridiculous because Marquette was clearly fouling on about 50% of Davidson possessions and not getting called, while Davidson was called for very, very chippy stuff. JAG (and just about everyone else) were in serious foul trouble by early 2nd half, and that impacted their ability to deny passing lanes to Howard and get right in his face.

More specifically, the referee put the ball down and started the 5 count on a Davidson inbound before they even left the bench and gave them like 2 seconds warning. They had to run all the way over to the other side of the court just to heave it to someone at 4 seconds. The charge call on Grady under 5 minutes (Davidson was up two) was absolute nonsense. Defender clearly nudged his shoulder over to meet Grady AND he was in the circle by like 2 feet.

Just checked and neither of them received any votes so even more perplexing how Dayton all of a sudden is a top 10 team. They have a chance to knock off St. Mary’s and I think one more quality opponent. I’ll hold my kool aid until I see those games.
What’s even more confusing is that teams like Florida State, Evansville and SFA don’t/won’t crack rankings when they DO beat top 25 squads. Dayton beats Georgia and VA Tech, who both got beat by lesser teams than Dayton, and they’ll probably pass us in the rankings...SMH...its all about media hype. If we lost to Evansville at home, we could beat 5 ranked teams and still not make the poll, but Kentucky will stay top 10 all season. 🙄
