Walker I didn't expect a whole lot out of anyways but losing Sheppard is really going to hurt they don't have guards after Fatts and Dowtin and they needed his shooting. URI better hope the freshman are ready to step up and Sheppard needs to fix his grades big time I would hate to see him mess up a second chance.

Tyrese Martin is pretty good.

He is but will most likely be starting alongside them at SF and can't play point. They can work around it some but they have no depth and all 3 will have to play a lot of minutes every game. Sheppard would have let them rest Dowtin and Fatts more.

I agree that losing Sheppard really hurts their depth. Not sure if anyone remembers but VCU was in on Sheppard and then it got quiet. Rhody picked him up and basically that spot ended up being filled by Bones. Talk about VCU coming out on the good end of things. Whew

I have no idea what their depth looks like, but their starting unit is built to give VCU problems. Nothing new there.
