Most Valuable Player

6-5 SF Jamie Kaiser, New World 3SSB

Since the start of April, Jamie Kaiser has been on a tear. Of course, the wing led the WCAC in scoring this past season, so this type of production is nothing new. But, now that he has turned away from his high major football offers, people are paying a little more notice. Kaiser knows his game and understands how to get to his spots. Skillset plus efficiency, and now the eyes are watching.

Recruitment: Has taken official visits to Wisconsin and Harvard. Indiana, Virginia, Virginia Tech, etc., have offered recently.

For those who say the Power 5's are going to screw VCU due to NIL

Look at the rankings above.

Lamothe is pretty much going to Maryland at #122. Braelon Green - Michigan St #100.

We have a really good chance at Dillione, Jackson, Dual, Wol, Green, and Demary. All of whom are same area or higher than both those guys!

VCU is involved with an extremely impressive list of guards for 2023. Most of these guys will be very tough get's albeit doable. Fortunately we were in on many of these guy's prior to them blowing-up and have stayed on them hard. Hopefully that proves meaningful in the end. Our staff is very good at relationship building.

These guy's have both elite physical and basketball skills. I recently saw where Solomon Ball had a measured vertical leap of 45 inches. This is an example of the type of kids Mike is recruiting.
