Four-star forward George Turkson is currently being prioritized by two schools so far. The 6-foot-7 wing was one of the standouts from last weekends Gym Rat Challenge as he displayed his length, rebounding, and activity on defense. It’s still early in his development in terms of fine tuning his skills on the offensive side of the ball.
“I think I’ve been showing people that I can spread the floor, find my teammates in the outlet, and make defensive plays for my team,” he said. “I’m just looking to show people I can make jump shots.”
In terms of his recruitment, VCU and Providence have been heavily involved along with other programs.
“My recent offer was VCU. Them and Providence are prioritizing me. Moving forward I just plan on stacking up offers and visiting the colleges that offer me but nothing set up yet.”
No problem with this at all, the contact and relationship building is what's important. If that is going well offers will come.
The staff has not extended any new offers to 2024 prospects since the open season commenced at midnight yesterday, we are only notifying prospects of our interest.
It seems we are taking a more measured approach this time.
Any thoughts on this @RAMification ?
