Recruiting 2024 Offers

The VCU Exchange is a student-athlete NIL business registry, custom-designed for businesses, donors, alumni, and any other interested NIL dollars wishing to connect with student-athletes.
But I don't have an opportunity to provide to them, just cash :D

Are other schools allowed to contact and actively attempt to recruit players who are already active players at a school for a year or two? I thought that was not allowed.
If Ace was offered 150K to transfer, isn't that basically actively recruiting an already signed player?

And is this where we are going now? Are the Dukes and KY's going to be attempting to steal/poach/recruit/pay players to come to their program from other schools within the same conference in order to hurt the other schools chances during the season?
If this crap is allowed then how about we do a "gofundme", get all the money we can and then pull in all the top players from Dayton, St Louis, Bonnies, and UMass.....they don't need scholarships because we can give them major NIL from the gofundme.....they can be walkons, while we just walk right through the A10. Who is with me!?

Athletic, I think, wrote a whole story on this. Of course it's not officially allowed, so for basketball the majority of the shady crooting happens through their AAU coaches.

Solid recruits right there....Also, Troy McKoy is just a fun name to say...also eerily close to the great Troy McClure (RIP Phil Hartman)

it would be amazing if we get this guy, but i can’t help but think we haven’t learned from this recruiting cycle. i don’t think we should spend finite energy and time on guys that aren’t feasible to earn a commitment from.

Class of 2024 guard

Tyler Bailey
has put together one of the more quietly impressive seasons on the national level this high school season. He’s second on La Lumiere in scoring at just under 16 points per game, and leads the team in scoring in NIBC events. He’s also shot over 50% from three this season.

The four-star guard spoke with Rivals about what’s been going on in his recruitment.

VCU: “Coach (J.D.) Byers, we have a pretty good relationship. We’ve been talking for probably two years now. We always keep in contact and he always checks up on me, I like the conversations we have.”

RIVALS' REACTION

At this point in his recruitment, it seems that Seton Hall has really caught Bailey’s eye, despite not having an offer. The Pirates, combined with VCU and Wake Forest, make up the top three for the four-star guard in my opinion, but we’ll have to keep track of incoming offers and visit plans.
