I haven't watched Mason play very much this year, but they seem to play to the level of their competition. Played well at Kansas, beat Dayton and Bonaventure, but lost to GW and ODU. Is that what you've seen from them?

Like St. Bonaventure, Mason now has a talented and connected starting 5 with no bench.

If you take one of their big 3 scorers out of the lineup, they become an also ran A10 team.

The most recent example is GW. oduro was a last minute subtraction from lineup. Mason blew a 15 point lead midway thru the second half becuase they had no bigs to plug the middle, GW had a layup line going.

Interesting. Wonder how they'll handle the pressure we throw at them.

Right now? Not so.good.

On the other hand, if vcu allows mason set up. They have five versatile scorers, with great spacing and create for themselves.

The key to their.success are their players Josh Oduro and Devante(sp?) Schwartz.

Schwartz is their version of Vince Williams. He makes big timely plays on ends of the court when needed.

Oduro is probably the most versatile, offensively skilled big in the A10. He is just an above average athletic but makes up for with high basketball IQ and hi motor.

But again, all that is somewhat nullified by their inexplicable propensity to cough it up on inbounding the basketball.

They're talented but not deep

They average 10 made 3's per game.

Also, they have ALOT of trouble inbounding ball against even token full court pressure.

VCU by 10 if it can reduce its own number of turnovers.
I heard they were working on that.

How is the 10x Oduro cloning project going?

I feel like Rhody is gonna pull the upset. Let's see if feeling it in my bones will work tonight.
