Kulju (Man Bun?) and Gaitley are (were?) Walk-ons. Do they get a COVID year? It's hard to say because UR has like 40 walk-ons, but Gilyard, Sherod, Cayo, and Golden are out of eligibility. Sullivan Kulju and Jordan Gaitley are also out of eligibility but they never really played.
If they opt to use their COVID years, Grace and Gustavson can return.
The eligibility rules are the same for walk-ons as scholarship athletes. Instead of 4 years eligible to play, and 5 years to use them, it's 5 years eligible to play, and 6 years to use them. As long as the player was on the 2020-21 roster, they get the extra year. And any eligibility waivers are on top of all that.Kulju (Man Bun?) and Gaitley are (were?) Walk-ons. As much as I'll be rooting for Saint Peter's, Shaheen Holloway, and Rasheen Davis tonight, I don't think they have a chance. They don't have an answer for Zach Edey or Trevion Williams.Friday March 25th
