Thats what she said.“I know it when I see it” applies just as much to good basketball as it does to pornography.

Just to have another win on their W-L record, though I will never understand why schools play non-NCAA opponents these days with 361 schools in D1.Why did Saint Louis play an NAIA school?
FFS we are 5 games in to the season.Richmond has a freshman guard that is tearing it up and so far looks like he’s gonna be a problem for the next four years. Our highly regarded freshman barely sniff the court😕
Good ball movement is key!“I know it when I see it” applies just as much to good basketball as it does to pornography.
His last official game before this month was at the STU...
In his 2nd VHSL championship, each for different area schools...
Doesn’t make sense to me. Wins over non-D1 schools don’t calculate into the NET or KP either.Just to have another win on their W-L record, though I will never understand why schools play non-NCAA opponents these days with 361 schools in D1.
Yeah, it means even less nowadays since most of the metrics exclude them. Torvik does factor in stats generated by those games (against an opponent with a rank of 0) but I think that’s the only one and I doubt a school would want to pay Southeast Penntucky Tech $50,000 just to look a little better on Torvik.Doesn’t make sense to me. Wins over non-D1 schools don’t calculate into the NET or KP either.
Off the ball movement is important too.Good ball movement is key!
It might actually make a lot of sense when you think about it. If you have to choose between a Q4 home opponent or a non-D1 NAIA home opponent, which it better for your metrics? The Q4 opponent doesn’t really help and could potentially hurt your NET if there’s an upset. The non-D1 team is still a home game that brings in revenue and allows your players to pump up their stats and for your bench to get some run. I doubt most fans know the difference between Kennesaw Sate and an NAIA program if they’re both on the schedule. Attendance would probably be just about the same.Doesn’t make sense to me. Wins over non-D1 schools don’t calculate into the NET or KP either.
Yes, I was there. With Nelson and Roosevelt Wheeler the headliners, along with a very young Dennis Parker, JM trounced Gate City in the 2A championship game. It was the last game played in the state tournament due to the global pandemic.
