Bracketologists.com, which is an EXCELLENT resource, just did something else great - they changed all the ratings listed on their team schedule pages to KenPom ratings, since NET is not yet available.

But even kenpom needs a little more sample size at this point. Usually becomes more relevant at about 10 games.

pitt is 121 in kenpom rn. net will be different, but it doesn't look they are going to be.
Yeah exactly and even if Pitt ends up being solid, I have a hard time seeing them being better than 80-100 in KP and NET. That could be a fine complimentary win, but definitely not a resume changing win.

That is a good idea!

I'm still curious how close Torvik Rank with a start date of 11/06 instead of 11/01 will be to NET

I "think" that removes the preseason bias, but not sure...

(Realistic and Proven) Formula
10-3 OOC
13-5 A-10 Reg Season (toughest A-10 slate)
1-1 A-10 Tourney
--------------------------
24-9 Selection Sunday

NET = 45-55 range. KP = 60-65-ish. Dancing. 11-12 seed.

Note: Unlikely to be achieved playing at current BT/KP efficiency levels.

That's the general workaround for eliminating the preseason stats from Torvik's metrics until they remove themselves later in the season.

I'm more worried about the A-10. Two more P-5 losses today. The OOC losses for the A-10 are starting to mount. At best, the A-10 is now a two bid league. So much for this being a "turn around" year for the A-10.
It is more of a "turn around and bend over" sort of year...

I don’t think we can lose anymore tbh. We need to win all and then go on a massive streak in the A10. We already went through our main opportunities.
A10 teams in top 100
st louis 42
dayton 55
richmond 81
(vcu 96)

we have 2 shots at all of those teams. 4-2 through those 6 is my guess for what we will need. kenpom is off though it has Davidson low at 113 and mason at a ridiculously high 130. time will tell I guess.
