When did I say NET is unadjusted efficiency? I said it uses unadjusted efficiency as an input, which just means it's using game data. You said it was unadjusted, I was just going from that.
Example, Pitt beat a very, very bad Louisville team last night. Their efficiency was off the charts good, but L-ville is one of the bottom 20 teams in the NET. They gained 3 places in the NET. Should they gain three places for beating a bottom 20 team badly? Now I'm happy Pitt gained 3 spots, puts them only two away from being a Q1 for us.
Point is WE DON'T KNOW just how the NET works, because they won't tell us. A lot of it makes no sense, none at all. You are far, far from convincing me otherwise. I understand your argument, but a lot of the actual data doesn't work out that way. And no my analysis is not wrong.
I was watching. That was a wild game. UR had a 5 point lead with a minute to go. They had a 3 point lead with under 20 seconds and fouled Bishop on a driving lay up giving him an And One to tie the game. Bad choices down the stretch of regulation for the Spiders. It is always a good day when the Spiders lose.
A10 tournament is wide open this season. Anyone can win it especially with the "rest day"I was watching. That was a wild game. UR had a 5 point lead with a minute to go. I watched several games last night on three devices 🤣 Mason looked bad but Duquesne's D makes teams look bad when they are locked in. Bona could not handle La Salle's three headed guard play. Bona is a team that strays from the game plan time to time which results in losses. SBU's guards can fall into ISO play and it kills them. Fordham has a good team and Urgo is a fiery coach. They really get going in the 2nd half of games. UMass is a mess though. I see Fordham as a top 4 team when the regular season wraps up. I did not check in on Loyola and St Joe's. St Joe's won and is playing good ball lately.
and what was really interesting in the ur game was that at the end of regulation, gw's strategy was to foul ur on every possession. ur went to the ft line and MADE EVERY FREE THROW, 4-4 (something VCU is unable to do) and still lost the lead sending it to ot.I was watching. I feel like attendance is gonna be down hard. Fans go with the expectations they have a chance. Right now every single team’s fans aren’t convinced they’ll get past their first game. Add in the rest day which means booking an extra day many will likely watch at home. Honestly you needed the tourney near one of the major schools to salvage things this year. Might see more fordham though.I hope the A-10 is well attended with a good atmosphere. Just about every game will be a close one.
Would not be surprised of 2 of the top 4 didn't make it past their first game.
I would think this year pretty much every team thinks they have a chance. Right?I feel like attendance is gonna be down hard. Fans go with the expectations they have a chance. Right now every single team’s fans aren’t convinced they’ll get past their first game.

I do not expect good attendance before the break but Saturday and Sunday should have good turnouts.

Y’all maybe right. I just think we’ll have down numbers from Dayton and VCU. SLU generally shows up when they are good but I feel like they will have fans who won’t travel too because of their inconsistency. Obviously this change still if a team gets hot. Fordham will show. SBU should but it’s a long trip to NYC and their fans are very unsure of their team as well. It’s just a long way for the major schools as far as fans traveling/booking extended stays to be completely uncertain of what team will show up.I suspect you'll still see the usual big crowds from VCU, Dayton & prob SLU. As well as Fordham & St. Bonaventure due location & the fact they're both currently a Top 5 team in the A10 (based on conference record wise). However my guess is, outside of Bonnies fans and the VCU/Dayton/SLU fans that are taking the whole week off to go to Brooklyn.... I suspect Tuesday & Wednesday will be pretty bare. It'll prob be like the old pillow fight friday games at the CAA Tourney in Richmond back in the day where it was mostly VCU/GMU/Odu fans.
I'm curious to see how many UR, URI & Davidson fans make the trip. Especially having to be up there for a Tuesday game.
