Court #2. REALLY like what I have seen from him so far. 2-2 from floor including a great up and under move and 7 rebounds still in Q2

He moves and transitions well. Once he learns to provide a target with his hands better, he will get more entry passes and where he can score more easily. It was fun watching Christian dominate,. 4 blx that I counted (they credited him with 2), 15 rebounds, altered many shots or deterred the very idea of driving the lane. 3-3 from the field, with that one really sweet up and under move on the ONE entry pass he got.
But that team would be frustrating to watch on a regular basis. 21 turnovers. Their "star" SG (247 5*) was 5-15 from the floor. 19% from 3. 55% from FT. Oy.
Games like that are why some of us don't think recruiting stars tell the whole story. Fermin might have more if he had a point guard like Ace to feed him the ball.It was fun watching Christian dominate,. 4 blx that I counted (they credited him with 2), 15 rebounds, altered many shots or deterred the very idea of driving the lane. 3-3 from the field, with that one really sweet up and under move on the ONE entry pass he got.

Fermin 9.pts 8 rebounds
Christian finishes with 14 and 9. FG: 6-8, FT: 2-3; 4 OR; 5 DR; 9 TR; 2 assists.
#2 player in the class, Emoni Bates was 4-15, 13 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists.
Fermin has a ton to learn. Sort of gives up on a rebound when he gets boxed out instead of fighting through/around it.
But goodness there is tons of potential there.

WHEN he gets an entry pass (once a game). I have never seen a team so allergic to the assist14 pts 9 caroms. Really nice post up and turnaround jumper in the second half. Presents a low wide base when receiving the entry pass.
