Ace Baldwin is a major upgrade

To all the folks complaining about Ace: VCU has reduced their number of turnovers through two games by 23% from last year. And that doesn't account for the much stronger opponents this season. AB is largely responsible for that.

He has a 13 assists and 4 turnovers.

He's been great defensively with the 5th best defensive +/- and the 3rd highest steal %.

Some of y'all think you have to be a scoring PG to be great. That is false. Ace may never average more than 10ppg, but he's going to leave here as one of the all-timers.

Freshman point guard is probably the hardest position to adapt to in college basketball. Especially against one of the best defenses and defensive coaches in all of basketball (with let’s be honest, inferior talent compared to WVU. It is what it is mid-major vs P5). He’s doing great and will be great.

Facebook is a cesspool. The normal group is mad we dont win every game by 158 points and I am pretty sure if the staff asked fans to give themselves ghost pepper powder enemas the "positive" group would not only do it but film it to try and one up each other on how big of a fan they are
