Should go into that first game against Arizona State as the favorite. They've been pretty blah these last two years and lose two of their best/most efficient players in Wilson and Curry. Got some solid transfers coming in via Michigan,

About to book my Amtrak tickets to head north on Thursday 11/17 to catch our second game of the tournament. I turn 30 on Saturday 11/19 so I’m making a weekend of it with my fiancé. It should be fun. The only MTE I’ve been to was the 2K Sports Classic in 2015 when we lost to Duke so I’m hoping for a better outcome this time around.

Should VCU face Michigan in final, it will likely be the only game all season in which the Rams are underdogs by more than three points. And even then, you suspect the Black & Gold might have the "revenge factor" in its corner. The Wolverine transfers will want to say, "how do you like me now!" to their former coach. That's sure to be the story line.

The bigger revenge would be avenging the NCAA tournament game where Michigan absolutely pasted us.

That’s fan revenge. None of the players on either team probably even realize that game happened. And Rhoades is the only coach from either team that was there. I doubt a lot of VCU or Michigan fans even remember it that well.

I’ll never forget that mean (but legal) pick Mitch McGary laid on Briante.
