Khris Lane is awesome. That was a helluva interview. Sounds like the team is playing with a chip on their shoulder to prove the naysayers (espn, rothstein, etc) wrong. I've got a good feeling that they will accomplish their mission. I'm not suggesting we won't hit a bumpy road now and then, but, I think our RAM Warriors will earn the right to dance in the NCAA tourney.
I think we could beat both if we play our A game. We can get one of them.
Or, RVA could accept the direction of things and move towards providing greater infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. Times are a-changin' and being on the leading edge rather than trying to play catch-up seems like a better move.
That’s an 11 point swing. NFU had no answer for him.
Did some of you watch a different game?
JT scores 2 FTs at 7:21, last score of the half for him.
Picks up second foul at 5:51 with us up 30-16.
Comes back in for a couple mins, goes back out again with 4 something left.
Yes, they did watch a different game, since NFU is not the abbreviation for Grambling State.
I watched the game replay yesterday and the one thing that stood out to me was; when the players where talking to MR, they all had their arms around his shoulder!
Was Hunter Elliott sick for the NFU game? I missed him as PA announcer.
Agreed! Lane was such a good interview. He's so well-spoken. After his basketball career ends whenever that may be, we ought to look into bringing him on as a VCU announcer.
Ditto. Live in Mechanicsville, and I'm the same way. I'm able to get there early (I know not every one can)... and I'm one of the last ones to leave.... and since I'm usually able to find street parking, even if it means I gotta walk a couple blocks... I'm good to go.
Regardless... I love VCU Basketball, so I'll put up with all the extra stuff.
One thing I wish they could do whenever they do the next reseating.... is put in a question of....
"Are You Ok With Fans standing during the game?" And then list 3 options....
1. Not at all
2. Only during certain stretches (when we need a defensive stop or we are on a roll and trying to keep momentum going etc.)
3. All the Time
And then when they go to select seats (obviously based on Ranking & Points and such) they could try to label the seating charts on the interactive maps with different colors.... One color for fans who don't want to stand much, one color for those who are fine with it during certain stretches, and one for those who are fine with standing all the time.
Prob won't work, but just an idea.
I believe someone said he was out of town on a business trip.
