Charlotte is about the same drive time as Philly and might take less time since you don’t have to deal with 95N traffic.
Is it? I was thinking Charlotte was like 8 hours aways BUT then I just realized it was the halfway point when I drove to Atlanta :lol:

It's closer to 6 hours. My wife and I drove down there for the TBT in 2016. It's theoretically a longer drive than Philly but the traffic isn't nearly as bad.

I-85 was under heavy construction at the time so it pushed the travel time up. Fast forward to 2022 and Google says it's about 5 hours now.
Google tells me 4:20 from downtown Richmond to Charlotte’s arena, which is about right from my experience. Since I’m 10 over the speed limit the whole way, it’s about 4 with some unexpected traffic taken into account.

Lucky enough I will be in New Orleans the first week of December. Will have to grab tickets when the nuggets play there.
