And Seth Greenburg would always nancy when they got left out of the tournament.
Seth Greenberg hasn't been their coach for 8 years.

Below are OOC games played by VA Tech while Buzz Williams was the head coach:

2018-19: Purdue, Penn State, Washington
2017-18: SLU, Washington, Iowa, Ole Miss, Kentucky
2016-17: New Mexico, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Michigan, Ole Miss
2015-16: Iowa State, Northwestern, St. Joe's, West Virginia
2014-15: Penn State, West Virginia

Add in an ACC conference schedule and VCU has no right to make fun of Virginia Tech's schedule while Buzz Williams was their head coach.

They are consistently in the 300's year after year.

Did you look at all of the OOC games? 2018-2019--They also played Liberty, Gardner-Webb, Ball State, Northeastern, St. Francis (PA), Central Connecticut State, VMI, South Carolina State, North Carolina A&T, and Maryland Eastern Shore.

And VCU played Gardner-Webb, Hampton, Bowling Green, Iona and Rider OOC. Virginia Tech doesn't have the pressure to schedule up in OOC like VCU. They are in the ACC and also played Virginia twice, Florida State twice, UNC and Duke in 2018-19.

Are you sure about that? Below are OOC games played by VA Tech while Buzz Williams was the head coach:

2019-20: Dayon, BYU, Michigan St. (342)
2018-19: Purdue, Penn State, Washington (136) - I gave them lots of credit last year for rectifying this problem.
2017-18: SLU, Washington, Iowa, Ole Miss, Kentucky (328)
2016-17: New Mexico, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Michigan, Ole Miss (254)
2015-16: Iowa State, Northwestern, St. Joe's, West Virginia (214)
2014-15: Penn State, West Virginia (301)
The issue isn't that they don't play a few quality games, it's that they play 6-7+ home games ever year against 250+ opponents.

That's irrelevant. You don't have to go above and beyond if you're in the ACC, just don't suck at scheduling in the non-conference. Take 3 of those 300+ games and replace them with teams 125-175 and you probably jump 100 spots. It isn't rocket science.
