Well 4-0 so far this week. Now I can not root for USC, even though I picked them, and still be 4-1. I'm expecting to be 5-0 though. Of course next week, 0-5 is just as possible.

Well done going 5-0. I went 3-1 myself.

7 Top 25 upsets yesterday..... And realistically you coulda had as many as 11 because....

South Florida Trailed Tulsa for the until the 4th quarter
Florida trailed Vandy until the 4th quarter
Notre Dame trailed Pitt until there was like 6 mins left in the game
UCF trailed til the 4th quarter

So all 4 of those Top 25 teams couldve lost.... which woulda put the upset total at 11.

Alright @Wolfpack Ram give us the insider scoop. Hows the Pack looking this year? Sure they are 5-0.... but just how good are they? Predictions for the Clemson game this coming Saturday?

One of the best offenses in the ACC and very exciting to watch. Both Ryan Finley (QB) and Kelvin Harmon (WR) are projected first round draft picks. NC State also has a freshman running back (Ricky Person) that compliments Reggie Gallaspy, Jr. and is the real deal. Numerous other wide receiver targets and the tight end is a transfer from Southern Cal. If the "O" line holds their own against Clemson, NC State will put points on the board. They are averaging 33 points per game.

Defense will be the question mark. They are young and coming into their own, but NC State lost a lot to graduation and the NFL over the summer.

It's always tough to win in Death Valley, but NC State always seems to play well against Clemson. Definitely the top 2 teams in the ACC playing Saturday. Clemson is at different level, though, than the rest of the ACC. I don't see NC State winning this game unless the defense rises to the occasion and plays flawless.

Interesting.. sucks that's not the Saturday night game, cause I'll be at Seigel for the Black & Gold Game this Saturday and I really wanted to see this game.

While I haven't seen much of NC State play this year, I have seen Clemson play on numerous occasions. Once they got their QB situation decided... they barely survived Syracuse (an opponent who has given them trouble & beat them last year) & Lawrence got hurt that game... they then followed it up with a blow out of Wake Forest (as expected) and had a bye week this past week.

Both sides of the ball will be huge for NC State to pull off this upset especially on the road. Clemson has one of the best defenses in the country.... Offensively, when they are on, they are rolling, however when they run into a good defense, it could give them troubles. Texas A&M & Syracuse gave them fits on both sides of the ball this year.

NC State will certainly have to get on the board early & often against Clemson, & do their best to limit the turnovers.

I don't really have a side in this matchup but it would be good to at least see NC State in it until the very end of this game. Give Clemson a run for their money, meanwhile showing NC State can't be taken lightly.

Good luck on Saturday.

Talk about disrespect!!! Clemson opens as an 18.5 point favorite against NC State. I'll take those points all day long against Clemson.

It's always tough to win in Death Valley,
Thanks for the info! If they were playing in Raleigh I might pick the upset, but not at Clemson.
Picks this week:
Clemson over NC State, but I don't think it will be 18 points either.
LSU over Miss St.
That school up north over Michigan St. Rivalry game but that school up north is cooking right now.
Oregon over Washington St. but it won't be easy. Pullman has always been a tough place for Oregon to play, even when they had a much better team than WSU. WSU is pretty good this year.

Upsets? Not seeing any right now. Maybe later.

Ok, I''ll give it a shot:

1. NC State over Clemson. Crazy upset pick, but Clemson has only had one tough opponent this season (at home against Syracuse), and they struggled big time. WOLFPACK IN THE HOUSE!!!
2. Michigan over Michigan State
3. LSU over Mississippi State
4. Oregon over Washington State

Upset Pick: (other than NC State over Clemson)
Virginia over Duke. Don't sleep on UVa in a weak ACC Coastal Division. Last week's win over Miami was legit.

you went with NC State over Clemson? :o I'm Shocked... jk.

And I'll let you slide with the upset pick this time cause it would be an upset... but normally we do a ranked team losing to an unranked (most of the time we just go out on limbs taking a swag at it lol... some times it pays off, others not so much lol.)

But either way, welcome to the club.
