How does this work?
Besides the CFB talk... generally @BaNgMyPrOgRaM & I just pick the 25 Ranked Matchups... so like next week, the ranked matchups are ND @ Ohio State, Cincy @ Arkansas, and Oregon vs Georgia... hence the "Games of the week".... and then generally we will throw out 1 or 2 games that we think will be upsets... usually a Ranked team.... So like I got WVA (unranked) beating Pitt, so thats my upset pick.

If there's no Top 25 upsets you see... you can also pick an upset from another game.... so like if Duke was playing UNC & Duke was favored... but you think UNC will win.... then that could be your upset pick.... just as an example.

And then we all (whoever is playing) just keep track of our wins & losses each week... just something fun @BaNgMyPrOgRaM & I do during CFB season.

Week 1 picks:
Georgia
Arkansas
Ohio State

Upset Picks:
West Virginia over Pitt
Florida over Utah
ECU over NC State

I’m assuming I can pick multiple upsets based on your post. Also, is there some minimal line for picking an upset outside of the top 25?

You can pick as many upsets as you think will happen..... and no we don't get too picky when it come to line picking outside the Top 25. Literally just if someone is favored... but you think the other team wins outright... that's all we pick... doesn't matter if it's 1 pt underdog or a 25 pt underdog.

A 12-team playoff has been valued at $1.2 billion annually, up from the current $600 million.

A subcommittee of commissioners developed a 12-team bracket that was favorably received in June 2021. The model included six automatic qualifiers -- the six highest-ranked conference champions -- and six at-large teams. That would likely be the format adopted if expansion settles on 12 teams. Such a bracket could be adopted as a short-term placeholder with future expansion to 16 teams if the board agrees to increase the field, sources said.
