Let me just say @TTL PKG yall were awesome last night! It is shocking the difference between last year and this year with the atmosphere. The students are really rocking the music - who is your prodigy- we saw him conducting in the second half and he was very good! Thanks again for bringing life back to the Stu! PS We laughed last night - you had a suit on and the coaches did not!

Thank you. Honestly it really really means a lot to hear these comments. It’s almost uncomfortable if that makes sense.

They are doing really well but we have sooooo much more potential for top end. I’ll take what I can get for now though. We HAVE to get better though.

That’s my assistant John Hulley. He was in the band when he was a student at VCU. He learned to play Trombone in the band and now he plays with NoBS Brass! He also leads PayRent brass band.

He’s no slouch and def more talented musically than I am. He’s bringing a lot to the table.

As a Vikings fan, I appreciated the "V-C-U" drum chant last night, akin to the Vikings' "SKOL" chant.

We really really really hope to do that better justice. In their defense we literally talked about it in the band 20 minutes before we tried it.

We need to execute better then get it to stick. Then get the Rowdies to run with it. THEN get the entire arena to jump in. 😈😈
