We just played two ASUN teams and they’re about to lose 4 of their conference members (Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas, North Alabama).

Members of the Atlantic Sun and WAC have agreed to form the foundation of a 10-member football-only conference with plans to join the FBS, sources told ESPN.

They are only losing them for football. The new conference is a football only conference.

also off the wall idea. we combine with the caa, but each year there is two conferences. one for the best teams, one relegation league.

First of all. There are a number of football schools in there, so it will never happen.

A hard NO!!! That conference would be a lot weaker than the A-10. Plus, it has BCS football schools, which will put a hard stop to it to begin with. That proposed conference is almost laughable. 🤣🤣🤣

other than the football point i really don’t get that. all of those teams have higher nets than a10 teams, and with the likes of la salle, umass, duquesne, gw, and fordham in the conference it’s hard to argue that most of them don’t have bigger athletic budgets.
