Seems TL was heading out even if SS stayed.
JT is hooping with Golden State today. What an awesome spot would that be for him.
Interesting.... especially considering I heard Draymond Green apparently said he would turn down a contract extension if offered. Whatever that means in the end.
Green is not getting a max contract anywhere. He is a unique player and fits GSW like a jigsaw puzzle. He has an ugly shot and handles aren't anything to write home about. Some random team may bite into his hype for like 25 mil or so but he'd never win a ring again if he left GSW. I think GSW will try to ink extensions with both Klay and Green before they're UFA's. It makes sense for them both to decline those offers this summer and wait till they're unrestricted free agents. Let's face it, GSW won't be looking the same come 2020 - that is if they get to keep Klay past 2019.
I think JT is a different type of player than Green. JT wouldn't be able to push people around at the NBA level. He'd be more like a Jayson Tatum small forward with a high motor. JT would need to work on his handles tho.
FWIW—Mack is at Bama.
Thanks. Thought he was somewhere south as he was from SC just guessed he went home.
Good for him...Bama is the place to be if you need a place that isn't a stickler about rules and such.
any rumblings about where Lavar Batts and Myana Kiir are heading?
Not sure about Kiir. Batts seems to be looking in Carolina. Teams like Coastal Carolina and Charlotte.
Whoa buddy. You better not come to the Bay Area spouting that heresy. Seriously, Bay Area fans are the worst. You and I share the same assessment regarding Green.
He isn't a Dennis Rodman, more of a Ben Wallace. Rodman had a skill set that was transferable to any team on which he played. Ben was a solid NBA player but as we saw by his performance in Chicago, and later when he returned to Detroit when he wasn't surrounded by stars he didn't have nearly the same impact.
Also, agree JT and Green don't have the same game.
Agreed. To be fair, I think Charleston plays a style that he'd fit and Coastal Carolina is actually not bad.
Still, def a long way from VCU and NC State.
Larrier was injury prone and wasnt strong enough to take the ball to the rack in traffic and get a layup through contact.
Vcu 3's have to be able to play 4 position in our small ball scheme, larrier isn't strong enough to box out and hold post position against the opponents' traditional power forwards like jordan burgess or treveon graham.
Murphy averaged 16.8 ppg and 11.3 rpg per game against traditional big physical big ten competition.
He can hit from 3, post up smaller defenders or take you to the rack and hit the layup whIle being hacked.
2 guys that have never done jack with injury and attitude red flags, or a hard nosed rebounding forward with a pretty complete game who has been getting it done on the big10 for 3 years and all league last year?
Even in the bizarro world/upside down that ram nation lives in, that’s pretty out there.
This is why Larrier always tried to get away with calling himself a G/F as he could not play any forward position or guard for that matter.
