If the NBA follows through on lowering the draft age in '24 I'd bet a lot of college players get squeezed out of that one.
I hope this happens. Although it’s not like there will be a lot of young kids who will be drafted. I’m in favor of anything that allows kids who don’t want to be student athletes to be able to go straight to making money if they can get it. Anything that can decrease the one and dones and marginalize NIL emphasis is good for the college game.

Yeah, but look at the shooting percentages for Marcus.

Hopefully he got his NIL money up front.
I was thinking the same. If true he had to do it. You cannot walk away from that type of money for your family if you are poor.

As men, we are hard wired to take care of our families even if comes at our expense.

I wish him well.

And probably gave up 46…..
Dont be a hater. There is no need for that. He wasnt a fit here but he did go hard.

Also, didnt seem as if he was the disruptive type.

Hope he does well at Long Beach and he is always a Ram.

Oh and btw it was 46 points which is impressive especially if your team wins and his team won.

Additionally, he did it the hard way only 3 three's.

He had Shrivers game but never got a red hot game with us.

Bravo!~

No hate, he doesn’t play defense, never has…..one can make a wise crack and still hope someone does well, it’s called friendship.

Happy for these guys, but I think we are better without all of them. Well, maybe not PJ.

True. But I was disappointed with the MBJ exit. I thought he had great potential for this season. But it sounds like he had issues with things going on in Richmond or VCU and just wanted out. Sounds like he is doing well and hopefully happy.

Yea, I felt similairly upon digging into the list. By all accounts, these guys ended up at a level that seems about right for their skill sets. Even though the A10 is down, it's still a much more talented conference top to bottom than the MEAC's and SWAC's and Summit's of the college world.
Devil's Advocate....had PJ Byrd stayed?? Would that have taken time/experience from Ace and would Ace be as effective as he is now.....it's all good, stuff like that is just a hypothetical exercise that sports fans have been doing for decades.

edit: WOW, my math and memory are WAY off....Byrd's only VCU season was 18/19 and Ace didn't show up until 20/21......I'm just gonna back out here...:lol:
