The Flyers inherited what looked like the easiest 2-seed path in recent A-10 history, taking on 16-16 Saint Joseph’s after the Hawks upset then 16-15 GW, then matching up with a Fordham team that ranked 13th in the conference in offensive efficiency. Dayton flirted with disaster against St. Joe’s, but ultimately survived the Hawks 60-54 thanks in part to a limited Flyers roster that saw just five players play double-digit minutes.
