VCU rides in to their next contest coming off an emotional-high win against former head coach Will Wade and his LSU Tigers and will be looking to avoid a letdown upset when hosting the Gamecocks of Jacksonville State in a rare noon Sunday tip. JSU flies to Richmond looking for their first DI win of the season following a 24-9 year under fourth-year head coach Ray Harper. A win takes the Rams to a perfect 4-0 start and likely back into next week’s top-25 rankings.
