Yeah it closed. I thought it was pretty good. Every area needs a BBQ joint.

For whatever reason, Ipanema Cafe 917 W Grace St, Richmond, VA 23220 is never as busy as you would expect either before or after the games. Its vegetarian, but even meat eaters can find something they like and they have a full bar.

Biggs BBQ was pretty awesome. I was pretty bummed to see it had closed when I visited a few weeks ago. I pretty much always end up at Baja whenever I'm in town so I'll stay loyal to that haha.

Does anyone know if the new place going in across from the Village will open in time for Basketball?

Also, I'd avoid the Shawarma Shack on Grace. I went once because we were running late and there was no line.

I quickly learned why there was no line.
