Ward had the lowest mpg among starters last season. He might be coming off the bench at Iowa state but I don’t expect his minutes to be far from what he got here.

If you can go there and get your 17-20mpg while getting paid it’s an easy decision. If he was getting 30-35 minutes here it would be a different story.

He could have earned more minutes at VCU if he WANTED them. The "motor" is not going to run faster in Ames, Iowa just because they make a ton of ethanol there.

Does anyone have a link or details to this NIL deal that was the motivator for Wards transfer? Just curious if its real or people just speculating because there is no way there could be another reason he decided to leave.

This stuff is wild. Iowa State now has two Bonnies. They better not expect much scoring from Osun and Holmes. Also, Lofton is a good guard but he just cannot shoot. My bet is that Gator fans will be beside themselves by mid-season.

He has his moments but overall his outside shooting is suspect. 27% from 3

Three-point shooting wasn't part of his job description ... according to my stats The Ward'en was 0-for-12 from distance over three years and 1,317 minutes ..... on the up side, he hit .575 from floor and .703 at foul line.

I was talking about Kyle Lofton.

Ward will get some burn when Osun pulls his “I just died on the court” bit that he runs out every game

Ward wasn't a projected starter before Osunniyi signed with Iowa State. He's definitely lower in the depth charts now.
