I simply support the team in good times and bad. I hate losing just like you. I just try not to throw anyone under the bus in bad times.
You guys act like you can't be critical of the team/coach's performance
and still support the team. I've been here since the JD Barnett years and I'm still here. I've been a donor, season ticket holder, been to both NIT and NCAA games. I was in the building when Maynor hit the shot against Duke and was in the Coliseum during Sonny Smith's nine win season.
I'm not directing this specifically at you and I'm not going to speak for others, but if anybody questions my support of the team because I discussed the need for changes if
hypothetically we miss going to the dance again this year
and if we continue to miss going in future years, quite frankly you can go kicks rocks. Raising legit concerns is not "throwing anyone under the bus" in my opinion. People can agree or disagree on points of view, and that's fine. That's what this forum is for.
Kudos to everyone who continued to have unconditional faith in MR after how last season ended, how this season began, and after some disappointing moments in previous years. I was with you for 5 years and one month until around last December. MR did a great job turning the season around, he absolutely got the job done (which is all that mattered to me) and I couldn't be more proud that he proved my lack of faith unwarranted. But I am getting a little sick of people acting like the concerns were unwarranted or premature and that anyone was "thrown under the bus." And yes, if we go through another period where we stink I'll be critical again...and still support the team.
Now, excuse me while I go back to being hyped about our NCAA match up against St. Mary's.
