Needs to be able guard the perimeter and hard hedge on the high ball screen without fouling then rotate back quickly. If he can do that he’ll have more minutes than he’s getting at ‘Ville now.

Got to see/know Wheeler in the local pro-run going up against Nathan Knight/Armondo/Santos, ETC. Really nice kid and tends to play nice on the court also and doesn't have high motor. If he could get some dog in him he would be monster on the court with his size and ability to get up and down the court. Hope the best for the young man and WOULD love to see him come home.

If what you say is correct regarding Wheeler not having a high motor, then I can't see him in a VCU uniform. We have had enough big men over the last 10 years without a high motor, and most underperformed. Maybe that's why he isn't getting any significant playing time on an absolutely horrible Louisville team.

I just think the kid needs a change of scenery, and it's a pretty safe bet that he'd bounce back pretty well with some better coaching and better opportunities (He'd clearly only have to share time with Fermin)

When's the last time VCU ever got a Top 100 kid who was 6'11" 240?

A kid by the name of Jamie Skeen wasn't all that productive at Wake Forest but I kinda think he worked out well for us. We need to talk this into existence!!!! :D

That’s what I’ve been doing ‘Chill…haha

Roosevelt Wheeler is a total change of scenery guy…VCU makes a ton of sense, we need to get some social media people on this!!
