I feel like hes trying to say something bout his jersey being retired again?..... but if VCU was actually doing it.... you'd think they'd let people know.... as it would sell more tickets

It's all set ... come see Bobby Dandridge, Gerald Hendeson, Maggie Walker Class of '66 and many family members (including son Jermaine Wilkins) pay tribute to No. 40 .... should be a grand occasion ... and so long overdue.

For those who don't understand what he's trying to say, VCU is going to retire Charles "Jabo" Wilkins jersey (again?)

Just talked to Jermaine Wilkins (Jabo's son) ... Jermaine is nice as they come, but that's not surprising .... if there was anything Jabo was better at than playing basketball, it was being kind and respectful of others .... in case anyone is interested in reading the Feb. 22, 1971, accounts of the No. 40 retirement, message me and I can arrange for you to see yourself ...I also have the Commonwealth times' account from '72. As it stands now, both NBA Hall of Famer Bobby Dandridge (Jabo teammate at Walker) and iconic Ram Gerald Henderson (who considered Jabo his role model) should be present Feb. 28. Presentation set for halftime - so don't leave your seats.
